A Time For Every Season
by James T. Frazee

Synopsis

There are good times and there are bad times. At all times, conflict is an integral part of the procession of life. The manner in which conflict is confronted and resolved determines the destiny of man. The challenges of conflict can be most daunting. It is all too easy to pretend that they do not exist, hoping that these challenges will fade away, resolving themselves of their own accord. But that rarely happens.

As the book's title suggests, conflict is a part of every season. Good and bad are always at odds with each other. Emotions aggravate the situation. Families fight over matters both great and small. So do nations and the result is war.

Conflict also provides opportunity and new directions. Ferdie Mitchell's children have grown to adulthood and they are thrust into an age where conflict abounds. The idyllic years are over, both for them and for the United States. They struggle to meet the challenges of life. Sacrifices must be made to insure the survival of family and nation. They are tested to their very limits, but are their efforts enough? Will they find the valor needed to overcome all obstacles? Will they be able to endure to the end? Will they find their new directions? Will they reap the joys they seek to find?
