Author Biography
Hagin King
Hagin King has authored five books of poetry including: Abused - Poems from life's dark side; Secret Diary - Lost Poems; Caged - Trapped in confined places; Conscious/Conscience – Societal, and Awakening - Paradigms Challenged.
She has also penned two novels: The Brat Pact and Crowne - Be careful what you ask for.
King graduated from Cal. State University in Sacramento, California, where she began her career as a broadcast journalist; writing, hosting and producing a weekly television news program that centered around social issues.
Since relocating to Palm Beach, Florida, she has worked as both a broadcast and print journalist at newspapers and television stations throughout South Florida.
King is a strong advocate for literacy; a family biographer and she conducts a "Beginning Writer's Workshop," which guides participants from organizing their thoughts to getting a manuscript ready for publication.
"Our stories can lay dormant, entombed," Kings says, "I can soften the process of moving words from their raw state to commercial copy."
