Carol Sorkin-Hunter

Artist Carol Hunter's work not only spans artistic genres, it also criss-crosses the globe. Ms. Hunter was born on Long Island, but grew up in California. She studied at The Art Center in Los Angeles and then traveled extensively throughout Europe, specifically to Rome where she spent an extended period of time. Over the past thirty years, Ms. Hunter has put together an extensive portfolio of work, using a wide variety of media to highlight her talent for art. Ms. Hunter is married to Ian Hunter, a Michigan attorney, since 1979. They currently live in Bloomfield Hills and are parents to twin daughters Lisa, a designer, and Jennifer, a psychologist. In addition to her artistry, Ms. Hunter also lectures for the Science of Mind Church, composes music and travels.
