Synopsis

Blair Damewood was cruelly abused by a father who never wanted her. Despite the hellish experiences of her childhood, she obtains a master’s degree in psychology and becomes a respected psychologist in an upper-class Detroit suburb. Despite her success, she has a “cancer” growing inside her… and it is metastasizing. She is suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder – but she believes she can control it.

However the reality is that every time Blair flashes back to her childhood abuse, a dark side emerges until finally the dam breaks. She kills a man during sex, then another. And another.

Ken Goldstein, a former cop kicked off the force for excessive violence, is searching desperately to determine who murdered his younger brother. Frustrated that after two years the police haven’t cracked the case, Ken’s sole purpose has become finding his brother’s killer. Upon discovering his brother had been a patient of Dr. Damewood, Ken meets with her. Their physical attraction catapults them into a torrid affair and Blair falls in love.

But can their passion survive the ghosts of Blair’s past? How long can she maintain control of her inner demons?
